2026 Annual General Meeting – Monday, June 22, 2026

June 1, 2026

Owner Participation is Essential to Strong Condominium Governance

York Condominium Corporation No. 60 will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the Party Room located at 390 Building - P1 Level. The AGM provides owners with an opportunity to receive important updates regarding the operation of the Corporation, review the financial position of the condominium, and participate directly in the governance of our community.

With 897 units, YCC 60 is one of the larger condominium communities in Ontario. As a result, owner participation is extremely important. Under the Condominium Act, the Corporation requires 25% quorum of eligible voting units in order to transact business at the meeting. For YCC 60, this means approximately 225 units must be represented either by attendance or proxy for the meeting to proceed.

The Annual General Meeting is one of the most important opportunities for owners to stay informed and engaged. While the Board of Directors and Management oversee the day-to-day operation of the Corporation throughout the year, the AGM allows owners to hear directly about the ongoing management, financial performance, major projects, and future direction of the community.

This year’s meeting agenda will include:

  • Presentation of the Corporation’s audited financial statements by KPMG

  • An overview of the Corporation’s financial position

  • Owner questions and discussion

  • The election of two (2) positions on the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors plays an essential role in protecting the long-term interests of the Corporation. Board members are responsible for making decisions regarding financial planning, maintenance priorities, capital projects, and ensuring the Corporation continues to operate responsibly in accordance with the Condominium Act and YCC 60’s governing documents.

YCC 60 has a long history of proactive management, responsible financial planning, and major infrastructure improvements. Continued owner engagement is an important part of maintaining this success. Attending owners’ meetings allows residents to gain a better understanding of the challenges, responsibilities, and decisions involved in managing a community of this size.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, owners are strongly encouraged to submit a proxy to ensure their unit is represented and that quorum can be achieved.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, June 22, 2026.
